Serious Games
Serious games, also called training games and immersive learning simulations, are games that are designed for a primary purpose beyond that of entertainment. Serious games are used in education, science, health care, emergency management, city planning, engineering, religion, and politics. Serious game types include microgames, role-playing games (RPGs), and simulations.

Story Learning
Story Learning (also called context-based learning and case study learning), is an educational construct in which facts are presented holistically as part of a story or case study. This format encourages learners to engage in the narrative mode of thinking. That means that as a learner reads a story designed to teach, they are able to relate to it and learn from it in the same way they would if they were experiencing the events of the story themselves, in real life. Learners are able to virtually experience situations and problems, which encourages the development of problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

WisdomTools offers courseware authoring, thanks to our innovative and flexible WT Authoring Studio™, which was developed entirely in-house. Whether you need us to help you build a course from the ground up, to convert a traditional course into an advanced training technology eLearning course, or to simply place your content in an easy to navigate and flexible SCORM compliant online format, we can help. Our upcoming Virtual Lecture™ tool will even allow the easy creation of an online course with video and synchronized slide presentation.
